Coastal Living House - Rosemary Beach

Wow it's been a while. We have been on 'the go' as us Southerners like to say.

This week i'm on my girls fam trip and we're having tons of fun. Lots of beach, exercise, talk, shopping...you know, all things girl.

I finally gave in...

I've definitely been caught sneaking away from the fam to read the next psycho move Dom is going to make. I must say as amusing crazy as the sex scenes have been, i'm slightly (extremely) disturbed by his control. Insane. But I'll admit I'm definitely hooked and the book keeps you engaged because you want to know what happens in that red playroom next...

Anyways, we went to Rosemary Beach to check out the Coastal Living House . It is insanely amazing. The talented Erika of Urban Grace was the interior designer and she did an amazing job on every room.

Its worth the trip if you're in the area, but if not here are some iphone pics I snagged on our tour.

Guest Bedroom one

Loved this fabric on table in the entrance foyer

Powder Bath Marble Wall.

Terrible pic but gorgeous pool scene and backyard

Guest Room 2

Recently Famous Pin all over Pinterest.
Those draperies are even better eye candy in person.

Playroom

A little unfitting for my lifestyle, but this was my favorite.
Little girls nook room with 6 beds for her friends. So cute!

Enjoy!

Pops of Color

Remember this post where I referenced weird things people do at work. Well, let's add another one to the list! The guy that sits beside me {remember we are a trading desk, open floor plan} is currently eating cherries...nothing strange there...however he pops one in his mouth then spits the seed out in the trashcan between us. Repeat x 20 = pop, chew, spit seed.  REPULSIVE. What is wrong with people?!

With that said, I was looking through some saved images and found these pretty pops of color.

Obviously I like pink & blue. Better than spitting seeds.

7.4 in Pics

It was a different kind of fourth but a fun one! With the holiday being mid week and due to this little thing called a j.o.b we were forced decided to stay in Atlanta. So what's more patriotic than running the Peachtree? Being a first timer, speedy Shelly hung back and showed me the ropes.

Pre race...7AM

Mid race pic @ Peachtree Battle

We did it!!

With 57,000 other patriotic people.

Crossed the line in 1:08 - we were happy given that time included a photo op, a bathroom break, and a brief pit stop to find each other after getting separated post bathroom break.

...

This pic makes me laugh...I sent my sister my proud pic of finishing the race and she responded with her pic on the right. Gotta love the age difference of 6 years... race or vodka? She won.

Finished the night with a cookout with friends and Lenox fireworks.
